This is not fair. The media always portrays The Short term effects of the War in Iraq. They keep going "OH NO! 3,000 men died! We must pull out of this war to save lives!!!"

For starters, statistically speaking, 3,000 deaths is VERY little. I hate to sound bitchy, but only 3,000 deaths compared to other wars is pretty good especially since the US has been in wars where every minute a person died. (Civil War)

Let's look at the long term effects of pulling out of the War in Iraq too abruptly....

FACT: Iraq is a shit place right now. The government is weak.

WHAT THIS FACT IMPLIES IS....

• If the governments are weak, people tend to not trust them. A weak government has a hard time to enforce ruling. Uprising and revolts can easily occur. To the extreme, a Civil War may rise.

• If Civil War does happen everyone surrounding Iraq is effected. Every state around Iraq will fear for its own protection and will probably try to seize the opportunity to fix Iraq. The closest state to Iraq is Iran. Iran will probably help the Shinites to victory. With Iran's support, they will win.

• If Shinites win, they will set up their own government because obviously the winner makes the rules. There will be close ties with Iran.

• Essentially, Iran will monopolize that area. Iran owns majority of the world's supply of oil. They could demand ridiculous prices and everyone would be forced to accept the demands since many economies depend on oil.

Now...

Who would you rather be in charge of oil?

Iran? or USA?

Actually I read somewhere that the best bet for the US in pulling out is to partition Iraq into 3 states. Heck the Kurds have already voted 98.7% for independence in a referendum. Its basically the new nation of Kurdistan in northern Iraq.

Yes, I saw this on the news, and as you can see from the midterm elections, once the republicans are out of the white house, the democrats are going to say "Hey Iran, Syria, Imma bounce now k?" and Iraq is going to go LOLOLOLOLOL and the middle east is going to go WTF? LOLOLOLOLOL and Canada is going to go LOLOLOLOLOLOL just like I'm going LOLOLOLOLOL right now. Face it. The US put themselves in a bad position and it's not worth it to preserve "American pride".

P.S. Oh yeah, I'd rather have Iran in charge of the oil than the US. Cuz the US thinks that they can afford to go to war wherever they want and consequences be damned. Iran... not so much...

3,000 is alot, they are not fighting a reason for themselve, but fightning for some other people sake. But people are not very please and welcome them the hell of not knowing who's the enemy or not. It's like a kid who set a firebag upon your door.

honestly i could give a fuck less about body counts or oil... we should be investing time and energy into alternative resouces rather than an arachaic machina thats sure to be extinct in a couple decades. then you dont have to worry about paying Iran shit and you dont have to invade countries under the ruse of getting out a dictator for killing 140 people when some assfuck in Africa kills 140 people an hour... fuck the media and fuck that bullshit... because if you sling shit to get an agenda instead of nipping the problem in the bud you end up in shit situations like we have now.
