Boy, do you got it backwards. There's valuable stuff in Iraq. (yay for oil!). Think about it, without oil life as-you-know-it in America is ruined. No oil for gas so nothing to get you to work, get you to school, get you to buy necessary things at a grocery store (food), nothing to fuel military tanks for protection, ect. If you cut a country off from oil, you can really cripple the entire economy.

There's nothing that America will do to Africa. No state will forcefully ever help Africa eliminate AIDS. There's some places that have virtually remained untouched: Switzerland, Africa, Antartica, ect. That's because there's nothing of value there.

Countries are greedy. Because wars costs shitloads (human lives, resources, time, ect.) countries are nit-picky about choosing which to and not to fight. In the end, there's nothing of real worthy value to help Africa. There's only human satisfaction, which is not enough of a reason to rage war in Africa.

America has its limits. It cannot go and save every screwed up society. (Africa with AIDS, 3rd world countries, ect.)
I knew from the begining america went after iraq partly because they wanted their oil, but America never announced that was their primary goal. I know countries are selfish and only help others when there's good for themselves, so why do they bother pretending to be righteous. I'll answer my own question: so they can tame the population into following them like sheep.

countries like Britain and America should help Africa though since they are the source of Africa's problems today.

Basically i'm saying i'm tired of the propaganda.

if you look at it America is one screwed up country. We go into other countries to help them find the "right" way to go, which is actually acting like a dictatorship by imposing our will over theirs, so our spreading democracy is complete bs, then we come up with weapons of mass destruction thing, when we have second most nukes in the world only second to russia, then our economy relies on other countries too much we spend too much energy in a time where energy is atarting to get scarce to find, and finally we have our own states problems with crazy people running around shooting schools and junk.

Yes as you can see we are the country that needs to help other countries find the "right" path

The US had not been fully at peace with Iraq since Iraq invaded Kuwait and coalition forces crushed them and drove what was left back into Iraq during the Gulf War. During the time that Iraq was under UN sanctions, US fighter jets patrolled the no fly zones inside of Iraq. This continued up to the start of the 2003 US invasion.

Saddam's relationship with the US throughout was never anything but strained, and Saddam lacked the sense to understand that the possibility of a US invasion over Iraq having weapons of mass destruction was as real as it could get after the 9-11 terrorists attacks in the US. The US was on the rebound from those attacks and on the defensive against threats, regardless of how remote such threats might be. All that was required to start a war was shoddy intelligence gathering and analysis on the part of the Americans, Saddam's continued publicly defiant posturing towards the UN and US over UN weapon inspections, and the poorly played brinkmanship game Saddam tried to play with George Bush Jr.

The Umayyid dynasty is long dead, as is the Abbasid(and more is the pity, there was much that I would like to learn about them, that has been lost with time).

I was tempted to put Canada on that list.

    hehehehe.

Sorry, we were discussing Canada & Mexico in class. There's lots of problems/issues with Mexican governments. Like, Americas don't want them crossing into American soil so Congress wants to build a giant wall. In class I was like "Why don't we build a wall blocking Canadians as well?" and the answer I got was "Cause that's CANADA. Nobody cares about Canada."

    *giggles*

even if Vietnam has more dead ppl than Iraq. A life is a life, dead is dead. either ways both presidents are dumbasses and the war is wrong.
