The Departed(american) and Internal Affairs(Chinese)
after watching the departed, it's clear that it jacked the story from Internal Affairs, the original. It's amazing how actors can make a movie better than its Original. Though the story in Internal Affairs is more detailed, i think that the Departed did a better job overall.
Like the scene at the movies where the mob boss is handling the enveloppe to his mole in the department: the Departed did a better job with that, while in Internal Affairs, the undercover cop looked more like robot, you don't get the feeling that he's spying on the boss and his mole.
Alec Baldwin did a better job than his IA counterpart, Martin Sheen also did, and having Jack Nicholson as a mob boss always helps.
Though I think Internal Affairs is a good movie also, but The Departed's actors makes it better.

The name's Infernal Affairs. And most of my Honger friends seem to prefer it over the remake, for God knows what reason.
