i've started playing magic again after a long period of laying off the cards, and i was wondering if anyone could double check this combo before i build a deck?
Debtors' Knell + Wrath of God
any thoughts?

Why do you need them as a kombo?
They both come in handy, even as single cards.
I play them both, but I don't see them as a real kombo.
you're kidding me right? you can use them independently, but you can also use them as a really strong combo. if your opponent has a fatty, lots of creatures, of a really useful creature, you can use wrath to kill em'all and then use debtors'knell (granting that its already in play) to revive that creature and put in under your control at the beginning of your upkeep. besides that your creaturs never really die

Why do people like fat cards like debtors' Knell, you should have a good cost/benefit ratio for your cards, all my favorite cards are at or under 3 converted mana.
I don't play lots of creatures myself, so I use Wrath to get rid of all the crazy-ass creatures my opponents play, Debtors' Knell is just a bonus, a "funny addition".
Like adonai said, it's a fat card and I wouldn't depend on it.
Unlike my Wrath or my Balance ^^, these cards save my ass 50% of the time when I fight creature-based decks, and all my friend realy enjoy playing rat-, goblin-, soldier-, angel-, dragon-, and sliver decks.
I hate sliver the most, I totaly hate them.
Most of the time you will be at a disadvantage when you depend to much on Debtors' Knell, you'll realy need something to rely on early in the game.
man i hate debtors knell its so freakin cheap
my friend pulls out 3 of them and rapes my mods with auto kills and crap (like wrath of god)
seriously op card if your deck doesnt have that many anti enchanments
they should at least give it a upkeep
dude would you consider this card weak if you had to pay 1 or 2 per turn to keep it out?

My plan is to kill anyone waiting to get the seven mana needed to play it before they get half way there.Originally Posted by Talamare

Meh, I stopped playing about the time Fifth Dawn came out so...
Legions block was the best. That was before all them pesky artifacts came about.

lol my main deck was artifact
but it became kinda impossible to lose once i got dark steel forge and that one guy who converts enemy monsters into artifacts then makes them join the darkside
even crap like 9/9 dracos for 5 mana helped
but yea i dont play anymore and sold my cards
