dude, give her something that you made like a card and buy her somthing small and cute, but it should be something she is interested in.

If you've known her for some time then you should already have a rough idea about what she seems to like, and that will give you a clue on what to buy for her as a gift. If you don't, then every choice is a rough guess and there's always a chance that you will pick something she might not like or that she could already have. This would then be a good a time to get to know her better and start asking things like what kind of books does she like to read, what music that she likes to listen to, does she like to play any computer or video games. Girls of any age might be into collecting something, like Barbie Dolls for instance. Don't laugh, my wife's been into that since she was a child and she's got one of every Happy Holidays and Bob Mackie Barbie that exists. Anyway, once you know what they are into, your future gift buying will be much easier.

I agree a self made present its always special you could find out wath she likes and make her a present basing on that!

Things that are more memorable are homemade. I think that's a fact of life. Try pictures. Pictures are good everywhere. Make it into a scrapbook, or into a collage, or incorporate it somehow into a card.

Oh. And then add chocolates & flowers as the final touches. Make sure she's not allergic to the flowers. If you get her a rose, be careful about the color. I'm sure you know that "white"= friend, "pink" = I like you, and "red" = I love you.

Oh, and also make sure the chocolate taste good---and if possible, low-fat! By the way, chocolate comes in all types. I saw a chocolate-shaped-rose once. You should buy her that! ^_^

Pictures!! yay!
Make sure if you use pictures, add funny ones and nice looking ones. This way she'll be able to look back and remember what happened.
Oh, and if you want to give her flowers, that's good, if you want to impress her, MAKE her flowers (out of paper, straws etc.).

Find out what her favorite foods are and learn how to make them just the way she likes it. Set up a picnic at a nearby park, pond, or wherever you so choose. Have chocolates to give to her also.

Give her pictures of fun times with the two of you. Write her a letter that will make her laugh and just happy that she is there with you and not anywhere else.

Show her that you really know her and care about her by taking her to do some of her favorite things.

When you go to drop her off at her house at the end of your time together, make sure there is a dozen of her favorite flower waiting for her on her front porch.

From there, it's all you.
