Any of you ever heard of him? He's the author of a series of books about vampires, I love his books! anyways I found this:
The Saga of Darren Shan novel series will be adapted into manga. It will run from August 9 in Shonen Jump Japan.

it looks okay, but the artwork could be alot better. and i never really liked his books anyway...

Nah, I wouldn't bother.
Weeeellll it'd probably make a decent manga. I have read the whole series over a year ago, and tbh i didn't like it much, though it had some good parts (well I thought they were good at the time).
But yeah, now I think about it, it would make ok manga material. Kinda makes you wonder, I bet all our favorite manga would really suck if they've been turned into books. But they're still good as manga, mirite? Well, I'm interested, and will check it out if I deem it worthy.
Yeeeaaahhh I just checked out the link, and so far, from the image I saw....well I like the art style. I'll definitely look into it. I've only read his vampire series, never got any of his books afterwards. They don't compare with alot of the better stuff, like terry pratchett, or some children's fantasy novels I like to read. Yeah, I may be 18, but children's fantasy appeals to me.
But yeah, looking at it, it definitely looks interesting. Thanks for sharing buddy. I'm also an ardent One Piece fan.
What's world of darkness?
Anyways I love his books and I like collecting stuff so I'm gonna at least get the first book or something. Terry Pratchett has good stuff! I liked the amazing maurice and his educated rodents.
And the manga being turned into books? Viz media is already doing a bunch of that crap. So far what I know is they've done Naruto and Kenshin.
