whats your type of mythology, and why?

i like the greek mythologies and the norse mythology

like like to read common short story myths. i also like greek mythology. i'm trying to get in norse and asian mythology but can't seem to find the time.

I like the myth where the daddy god has wild, unadulterated sex with his offspring who budded off him.

Well, it depends really. I rarely take notice at what type of mythology im reading, but Greek is the first one that comes to my mind. Ala, Hercules and et al.

i prefer the norse mythology, well one of my favorite gods are in there. Thor, the great god of thunder and lightning.

Greek is my favourite along with the patriotic Irish
My name actually comes from a myth in rl and here. Irish and Greek respectively

my personal favs are also greek , egyptian and norse i mean dude thor rules.

but if you like mythologies so much as well as sci-fi just watch stargate

i only read (i think most of the)greek mythology...
and i liked it very much
i´m not so interested in the other mythologies(the egiptian is a little interesting,though)but i´ll give it a try when i´ve got some time

stargate is awesome, i got like season 1 to 9, waiting for season 10 to come out on DVD.
