Thread: Fixing a Mini

ROFLMAO i just had the frekiest shite ever, so it was me and 2 friends in my 1983 mini, i drive it all the time without any problems, but 2day it decides 2 give problems, as we leaving uni Bam brakes fail completely, nothing absolutley fuckall & the handbrake doesnt work either soooo....
my god i was scared 4 my life many times, it was at 5pm so the traffic was at its worse and i had 2 drive 15k's like this ive just got back and my heart is still beating, many times i just went through stops streets on pure hope at 1 time we were all working as a team 2 try and stop at this busy intersection me slamming in into 1st gear a friend pulliung the hadbraske up as far as it could go and the other friends pumping the footbrake trying 2 get sumthing \, but nothing works and we stop dead in the middle of both lanes... i just saw cars coming on both sides so i just floored it...

anyway im pretty sure i just gotta bleed the brakes, but does any1 know of a good handbook cos mine is kinda outa date

you need a hand book to bleed brakes?

well i have an idea of how 2 do it but i dont want 2 screw it up more

its easy, all you got to do is losen the nipple on the brake pads, then someone has to pumb the brakes till all the air is out, make sure that only a little brake fluid comes out, then you tighten the nipple agian, do the same on the otherside. and pump the brakes till the peddal gets hard.
