This probably means, "Can I find someone else, and if not, I'll go with you," or "I have someone in mind, but it might not work out, in which case I'll go with you."
So its a maybe.
This is another way of her saying, "Well, you're third on my list," depending on her tone of voice. There are five simple solutions to this whole ordeal.
1) Gerbal-nap her Gerbal, and threaten to harm it if she doesn't go with you. If there isn't a gerbal, go for the next best thing, her family members. This always works.
2) Stalk her, and then badger her. If she dumps you, you will know the answer immediately. Lesson learned, you never know until you try.
3) Ask someone else if she says no. I mean, you must be ranked pretty low in the first place if she's gonna put you on hold. You're not calling for directory assistance, so why should you be put on hold in the first place?
5) Pretend to be an emotional wreck leading up to #4. Maybe she'll feel sorry for you?

ok, this is what im gonna do. I'll wait hmm 3-5 days, then ask her if she's made up her mind? hopefully she can give me a REAL answer by then. and i can either move to some other girl or stick with her. thx for the help guys.
Great choice. At least this way you'll be fair with her and yourself. But I think 3 days of waiting is enough. If she really wants to go with you, she should know by then ( otherwise, there's a big possibility that she IS keeping you just in case sb else wouldn't go ).Originally Posted by bbqRus
she is probably hoping that you will just give up and ask another girl. but if you want a definite answer from her, just ask her. she is obviously concerned about your feelings, otherwise she would have just said no, but you should inform her that you'd be okay with a "no", you just want an answer.
orrrrrrr in another scenario, maybe she isn't sure she can go?
You are in limbo, my friend.
And limbo sucks.
If I were you, I'd start asking other people.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.
