It's Israel friend, they've been doing this sort of stuff since they entered the mid east so many years ago. Sometimes I wonder if Hitler was their enemy, or teacher.

Ahh, so they attacked "objects crucial to civilian survival", but why am I not surprised to hear this news?
Has there EVER been a war where the participants cared about the opponents "objects crucial to civilian survival" or the civilians at all? I don't think so. And since there will never be peace in the middle east, they will fight until one side is annihilated.

How can they annihilate the other side ?? unless they use biological/nuclear weapon and create a no man's land of hundreds of kilometers, but have they the right to do that ? no.

No compjotr is right, it will only be resolved when one side is destroyed. My money's on Israel going down in less than 10 years. They've shown us that they sucked at war back in the 70's, but then they had the whole world's support. Now people are beginning to wash their hands of them, and when that happens...well, it'll be like being in a pool full of piranhas. They were always in this pool, but before they had protection. As soon as they lose this protection...watch the Discovery Channel to see what happens to anything with flesh when it falls in a piranha pool. It's only takes seconds before it's clean remains.

Edit: No they don't need to use bio weapons or nuclear. They only need to destroy the army and force all Israel back to Europe. Poor Europeans.

you forget that :
- israel is not bad at war at all, it is one of the best in the world (its army is composed of mercenaries for a good part) with top-notch equipment (their tanks are the best armored ones if i remember well.... of course it's like turtles, they are pretty slow and defenseless against strong detonations)
- america won't let israel fall, lobbies there are too strong. Also, to a lower extent, europe will protect it to the end.
- even without protection, israel is believed to have nuclear weaponry, and believe me they won't hesitate to use it agaisnt others for their proper wealth....


really, there are 2 choices : peace (which won't be easy), or reciprocal annihilation (which would suck, and maybe turn into soemthing really bad internationally)


@ling : look at europe, look at by example france and germany.... do you imagine the 2 going at war against each other again ?
they were ennemies, but the 2 sides understood it was better for everybody to live together, create economical bounderies, and learn to appreciate each other.
israel treat its neighbours like shit, and only listen to ONU when it's good for them, that will lead to their demise if they don't act like responsible people, soon.

neither country is bad. they just have conflicting ideas. Israel and its populace a just tired of being on the receiving end of things (in history, when have the jews ever gotten a break?), and Hezbollah, well, they're just retarded.

war never solves anything, because the losing side ALWAYS holds a grudge. (think of germany... the cause of WWII? their loss in WWI)

and after WWII ? germany lost again but as i said, everyone tried to live in peace, respect each other, talk, open frontier, and now a war against germany is unthinkable... and they have a long, long way to go in middle east to achieve that given recent (and ancient) history there.

also, hezbollah is far from being retarded.... they play the "game" better than the israelis top politicians...
