farms arent bad. slaughterhouses and places where animals are raised in cages... thats what youre thinking of.
i.e.- when animals don't grow right, grab them by the hind legs and smash their heads repetatively into a cement floor...

killing them with a knife, yes, but as i said too they could hit them harder and break their spine without damage (as we do for rabbits, by example)

I would imagine it's harder, as raccoons and such are bigger, and thus harder to slam on the ground.

maybe... in fact we need someone who have a raccoon here to test it ^^

they could hit them with a stick, but the problem is the same : they could damage the fur

edit : in fact the better way to stop this would be for rich occidentals to stop buying furry garments.

I saw a snake being skinned once while I was in China (I was the one who bought the snake), the person that did it first nailed it to a woodened board so that it couldn't move. I wonder why that wasn't done to any of the animals in the video, I saw them throw away the paws so I assume that they could have nailed the raccoon through there, sort of like crucifying it. It would be safer for the person doing the skinning too since there's less chance of him cutting himself.

The paws are probably used for Chinese herbal medicine, so nailing through them wouldn't be too smart.
