    The bottom of the kanji looks like the kanji for shikara which is power and the middle looks like the kanji for rice field (I forgot how to say it). I don't know what the ma on top would mean.

    勇 means "Courage" and in that picture it's pronounced as ゆう ("Yuu").

    夕 【ゆう】 (n-adv,n-suf,n-t) evening, (P)

    3 kanji pronounced as yuu. They all mean different things...
