As for the idiot I hope the cat was rare or something for him to go that far. Maybe he should have caught hte tree on fire to show theres a fire...and get the cat down

about firemen, it's the same in my country : they don't come to save cats anymore, or "little" things like that

hah, i'm thinking that the firemen got prepared to take out a fire...but when they found out they were tricked they decided not to do it.

If I were the firefighters I probably wouldve been pissed off enough to set the tree on fire, and then set the cat on fire, and then set the owner on fire. Sure, I might go to jail, but thems the breaks.
