Default Death of a great Author

I know most of the people that look at this won't give a damn but I'm drunk and they can go f***k themselves for all I care. I just found out today that on the fourth of August David Gemmell author of fantasy classics such as Legend and Wolf In Shadow died. I can't believe it myself I know some people will read this thinking why am I so upset at the death of one 57 year old white guy when so many people ahve died in Lebanon or Israel and they can go f***k themselves too. None of those people touched my lives like David Gemmell's works did. His books were the ones I looked forward to most of all I have never read anything with characters like his so human and flawed but still capable of great things and after the new book in September there won't be any more. He was the Don of Dons of fantasy may the Source welcome you home buddy.

Heres a public condolence thingy online for those who want to share theri respects and for those pissed off by my drunken typing take it to me don't mess around with the condolence thingie come after me prefewrably through pms as i don't look ath the forums much;.http://pub40.bravenet.com/guestbook/3359808728

A pity. Always sucks when talented people die...

i know how you feel, man. in 2000 my favorite author, robert cormier, died. i found his phone number in one of his books and decided to call it about 6 months ago anyways. i talked to his wife (now widdow, i guess) about him and his accomplishments for a while. it was a really touching experience.

    So, is his widow hot?

    ...

Well it had to be asked!

Oh yeah, I really should pick up Feists' new book now. Pug FTW. I actually named one dog Pug, the other Mil. >_>

his stuff stopped being great with "a darkness at sethanon". from then it just went downhill. especially each time they introduced a new mysterious place like the "hall of worlds" or "the city of eternity".
infact the whole serpent war saga sucked, apart from the guy with he orange bag. he was a great character.
