You're crazy. Feist owns your pathetic little soul. Plus whenever he introduces a new character, old characters tend to die. Though I concede that the lamest death ever was with Locklear. I mean, they just find his corpse? How depressing.
And Nakor owns your very soul. He married an evil demon witch chick.
it appears I'm out of my depth here. who was locklear again?Originally Posted by Black James Vain
agreed. that isn't really the reason why he's my favourite char though.Originally Posted by Black James Vain
Locklear, present in previous books, referred to as Uncle Locklear by Arutha's kids, died in Prince of the Blood. He was just found dead.![]()
Yeah, but we did get his death scene thingy. Plus, he was enjoying himself right before he died. And James was by far a more interesting character.
AKA: RelphTheCookieElf
No we didn't. All we got was his body being found.
David Gemmel was a great Author and so is Feist but I'm sorry imo Tad Williams pwns
George R R Martin also rocks. But Williams 'Memory, Sorrow and Thorn' series is what made me start reading fantasy at all
Yeah I agree, his original stuff was so dense, his newer stuff (i.e Jimmy the Hand) is really lacking. I only read them for the hell of reading them. Serpernt War Saga wasn't too bad, although Duke James dying really sucked, as did William.Originally Posted by jamie1990

Anyone else really quite dislike Talwyn's (Talon) chracter?
I should pay my respects. R.I.P David Gemmell. I think I'll buy his books now.
no way to way, no limitation to limitation...
wow... how sad...at least his spirit and remembrance will live on inside his books he created, and that'll last for a long time...like shakespeare's works...unless something like "Fahrenheit 9/11" happens. lolz...burning all the books, not allowed to read...but i soo doubt that'll happen. o whelzz..
You dumbshit. It's Fahrenheit 451. Fahrenheit 9/11 is the documentary Michael Moore made about the terrorist attacks. Fahrenheit 451 is the book about Gui Montag and book burning.
