I used to think that question was ridiculous. I saw a video at one point which was decently convincing, but it didnt really hit home til I read this.
So, did we?

Hmm. I guess it helps to have seen this video I saw.
Though its been a while, one of the things that stood out in my mind from the video was in the analysis of the actual landing. When the pod landed on the moon, there was no crater or significant dust cloud, which should have been present. NASA's response to this was that the quality of the video is too poor to tell what is actually going on. The recovery of this tape could conclusively abet this argument entirely, or, conversely, prove it to be true. Hence the importance of the original, higher quality tape.
I also seen the show where they talked about how the moon landing was fake. They talked about all the shadows were wrong and all this other shit. It was a long time ago, I can't remember it that well, but it was a very interesting watch.
I think they claimed that the moon landing was actually done around Area 51 and showed images of the possible area where they shot the "moon landing."
I know the video you're talking about.
They did a lot of analysis. They talked about shadows being in all the wrong directions. They also pointed out that in the astronaut 's helmets you could see reflections of objects that should not be there.
One part was about the flag. When the astronauts stuck the American flag onto the moon, the flag waved around. That should be technically impossible since there is no air in space that should make the flag wave like that. (However, NASA countered this by saying the vibration of stabbing the flag onto the moon was enough to make the flag fly in the breeze).
There was also questions like "Russians were the first to get an animal in space, a person in space, a satelite in space, ect. Russians had the more advance space technology. Doesn't it seem weird that the Americans are able to accomplish this huge thing??"
More points in the video include that Neil Armstrong has never done any interviews to describe this moon walking experience. Perhaps it's because he never did it.
Another factor they mentioned had something to do with the
space environment. There is some kinda of radioactive belt they had to pass through that is realllllly bad for humans. Miraculously, they all passed through with no problems.
Furthermore, the video thinks that Americans only sent astronauts into space. The astronauts orbited Earth and never did make it to the moon.
Saw that on Fox? I did, about 7 years ago.Originally Posted by coolpuprocks

Meh. The moon landing wasn't faked, methinks.
