In February, Regulators banned programs that mix animations with Live Characters.
In April, the government disclosed it was no longer granting publishing licenses for foreign magazines in an effort to protect its domestic industry. That came after a joint venture that published a Chinese edition of "Rolling Stone" was forced to dissolve after a single issue.

TV stations have been told to limit foreign programming, stop showing scary movies in prime time and have their hosts dress more conservatively and use fewer English words on the air.
    Even Websites are monitored.

Ain't Communism a B****?? I'd hate to live in a Communist Country. Yao Ming who broke his leg during his time playing for the Houston Rockets was told he needed a good 4 four months to completely healed. He is currently playing for the National Team preparing for the World Championships on a not healed Foot.

This is the problem with Communist governments, it's not for the people and by the people. It's mostly for the Country and by the Government. The country and government are put above the people. TV stations are forced to air boring animes, movies made by the chinese companies. And on top of that, they can't say no. Athletes have to be granted permission by the Government to play overseas.

You are allowed to express your views on communism, but don't say anything bad about China. We have a lot of members from China and although communism is a bad thing, you gotta give credit to what the Chinese have been doing recently. Their economic growth is simply astounding and the rate at which they are developing science is just abnormally fast.

That's bullshit relative to what american tv does to anime before it goes to air. Have you watched any naruto on cartoon network recently.. I have cried and my world has collapsed after I saw an episode of ''professionally dubbed and edited naruto'. I swear, it is better not to have anime at all then have it censored and edited to the point beyond recognition.
