Yes, HD is very unreliable, they can crashed on you anytime, it is like a tickin timed bomb!

I know how you feel dude, my hd crashed twice! and I lost my data (my chat logs with my friends, my work and study materials, animes, mp3s, pictures, etc) it is like losing some part of yourself, but as time goes on, I forgot about it and life goes on.

so now I'm backing up all my precious data and pictures only on DVD-R, and no more hard drives back up.

EDIT: btw AK, it is really hard to tell h in H drive is hard drive, it could be hentai drive, especially when you are the one who type it like that.

Which reminds me, I must back up all my stuff, I've got over 5 years worth of anime, manga, videos (a little porn), pictures, random funny shit and lots and lots of other junk that I've picked up, all of which has memories attached.
It'll also allow me to free up a load of space on my disks.

Man, that must hurt AK, your most precious data gone. All I can say is: Stop crying, and start re-downloading your porn.

I know I'd be seriously pissed off if I lost everything I ever downloaded and had to start over from scratch. Only once had my hard-drive crashed (a measly 30 gb at the time) and that was enough to get me to invest in a dvd burner.
And what's really a shame is that porn is such a fast-paced industry that what's downloaded today may not be available tomorrow, what with all the greedy leachers and all...
