i dont know what what was the most ive stayed up without any sleep.... but for the past couple of weeks, ive been going to sleep really late, and waking up(or being woken up) really early.
i know i was up for more then 36 hours once. so its possible.
i know, it will just cause me to die faster, but then who cares.
Sorry to bust the legitimacy of this threat but I use most of the things mentioned here to help me get to sleep.
I've been up 5 days (only counting full days) and agree with TwistedFaith as getting to sleep is a pain and totally wrecks your sleep patterns (which are pretty messed up in the first place). You only really have a good chance of succeeding if you are already having problems with insomnia.
If you are stupid enough to want to try this, then try to keep your brain occupied and thinking. This is actually my biggest problem getting to sleep at night, lying in bed with my min buzzing away.
ps. Over here, if you stay awake for around 5 days straight with no sleep you are legally insane until you get some sleep, timer then reverts back to zero.
