Pretty much any book store will have the latest manga, this place (pic) had 7 stories of manga, anime and figurines. It is next to the Sunshine plaza in Tokyo near Ikebukuro station. There is a big mall on top of the train station, there are two big grocery stores at the bottom level with several of bookstores and toy shops up in the mall area.

Now here is the beauty of it!!! I forget which episodes (manga) but the one where they each get 100 points when they fight the oni aliens….that the Ikebukuro station. (found it Volume 17, Issue 191: Oni Mission takes place in Ikebukuro.)

Oh if you buy any anime you will need a region free player to play it and a lot of the time regardless of what the sales person tells you it sometimes has an English track. The manga is all Japanese though.

Off to Akihabara then. Enjoy the... uh... unique, smell of the place.

    To the other guy:

An English track? Why the would it have an English track? Unless it's an import of a US show, it isn't going to have an English track. Do you even know what you're talking about?

But hey, while we're there, let me ask you, what do you think of R2 Anime DVDs? Answer quickly, because I might just harass you lots.

    To the third guy…

I buy lots of Japanese DVDs and 7 out of ten times they have an English track (dub), especially if they were an American movie to begin with.

All of the Ghibli stuff has an English track, but every store clerk in Japan I asked swore they did not.

All the Cowboy Bebop I bought there has an English track (dub) too, and next week I will find out if Samurai Champloo does too.

The other 3 out of ten times they at least have Elglish subs.

Never picked up any R2, but I do have all 4 Harry Potter in Japanese.

Wait... all the Ghibli stuff you buy in Japan has an English track, but when I borrowed Howl's Moving Castle from a friend (he bought it in Chinatown, though), it didn't... and it took me twenty minutes to find English subtitles? In Canada?

    *scowls*

Not that I watch the English version...

Talking about anime DVDs. So no. And by Japanese DVDs, you mean not imports from the US yes?

    More bullshit here.

Never picked up any R2, but I do have all 4 Harry Potter in Japanese.

Never picked up any Region 2 dvds? Then what the bloody hell are you buying in Region 2 Japan?!?

Japanese DVDs don't have an English track.

You're talking crap. But let me humor you, what do you think of Region 2 anime dvds concerning your wallet?

    Japanese Internet Connections rock. Period.

In fact, Winny and Share expects you to have some pretty blazing fast speed. I doubt anything below that is being used in Japan.
