Guys like that are a disease to the great game of football and one of the reasons I can't stand the Italian team.
That guy only has two talents: 1) taking people out from behind and 2) elaborate diving
I didn't like soccer before, but now I really think it sucks...
It's funny how this video has been shown after italy has won the wc.
@reila: Materazzi is not a diver. If you are so crazy to try tackling him he would normally kick you in the butt. And if you have seen carefully the video you would have seen that he is a wonderful shooter.
@krytha: I hope you don't like also football and hockey. Because if you do I have a word that describes you: sore loser.
.....Nicolas...I wanted to say: grow up, but as I look at your age I see it should be already done.Originally Posted by NicolasD
Don't insult others just like that, it only proves your lack of good manner.
And being a great soccer player doesn't justify everything.

It's not insult. If you say that soccer sucks because there are tackle of that sort, you'll not like also hockey or football. I've seen brawl in hockey and tackle(i don't know if it's the right term) worst of those of materazzi in football.
who watch the soccer game France vs italy, it was slow and kinda boring until the shootouts. It is so sad that guy have to retire having a red card thrown out of a game because he headbutt an player to the ground.....
.....I have a question but please don't get excited. :] What's the difference between soccer and football???..............no, seriously.Originally Posted by NicolasD
I was always taught that it's the same.
Actually soccer is the american term for european football.
The american term football is for the sport similiar to rugby, but not the same. In europe rugby is played 15vs15 while the american is played 11vs11. The rules are also different.
Aaaa....I was always taught that the other name for rugby is "American football", that's why I don't differentiate terms football/soccer. But I thought that the name soccer is actually an English one, not American. ^^
What did they teach me in that school!? :P
Hey! Guess which other sports I don't watch?Originally Posted by NicolasD
