Try using Google Earth, you can spot that unfinished hotel. That really stomped me though when I first saw it. I was wondering what it was until someone told me it was that hotel. I thought it was a missile launch bay.

Yeah, I reas about a similar story in the newspaper a while ago. Essentially most of Pyongyang is an elaborate front that they show to visiting westerners in a pathetic attempt to convince us that North Korea isn't a shithole.

Doesn't fool anyone but the stupid, however.

i think the only reason north korea gets any attention is because they are a nuclear power, trust me when i say there are worse places out there.

that there's like this perfect village on the north korean side near the border seperating north and south korea, that has massive amplifiers on either side which are constantly yelling out stuff like "come and live in paradise" and "live in north korea". There aren't any people living in the village though - it's like a perfect little ghost town..

I wonder..what are your opinions of this? And what if this village really exists?
