Thread: Why would you let them go?

I GOT THIS THIS MORNING IN MY E MAIL BOX. i personaly dont think they should let these boys go.. i think if youcan do something like this at a young age you will be worse when your older.. what do you guys think?

Do you remember February 1993 when a young 3 yr. old
was taken from a Shopping mall in Liverpool, NY by two
10-year-old boys? Jamie Bulger walked away from his
mother for only a second and Jon Venables took his
hand and led him out of the mall with his friend
Robert Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2
and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and
again to torture the poor little boy who was crying
constantly for his mommy. Finally they stopped at a
railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw
stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed
batteries up his anus. It was actually worse than
this...
What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's
mother was FORBIDDEN to identify his body.
They then left his beaten small body on the tracks so
a train could run him over to hide the mess they had
created. These two boys, even being boys, understood
what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look
like an accident. This week Lady Justice Butler-Sloss
has awarded the two boys anonymity for the rest of
their lives when they leave custody with new
identities. We cannot let this happen. They will also
leave early this year only serving just over half of
their sentence. One paper even stated that Robert may
go on to a University. They are getting away with
their crime.
They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life away
- in return they get a new life.

.. idunno where they are now all i know is i used to just let my 4 year old walk beside me ... now im seriously thinking of getting a kid leash .. i never ever considered a leash but i will now.. i would just hold his hand but he can pull away ... im seriously amazed they are still alive ... if it were my kid they did that to.. they would have been mysteriously assasinated in the court room.....

The culprits should be tortured to death over a period of 6 months to a year. They don't deserve to live, but a quick death is too good. Let them suffer in extreme agony.

People are to soft these days. If it was my kid they did that too it wouldn't matter where I see them, both would suffer the worse days (and I mean hell) of there lives right before I kill them off. Seriously.

I have no idea why these guy were let off so easily, maybe the courts thought they had learned their lesson and didnt want to ruin their lives? if thats the case then its the stupidest thing i have ever heard. they deserve the full punishment of the law.

life in prison would be less barbaric and more adequate
though they truely deserve worse than death... (wait... life in prison, surrounded by hairy fat disgusting men ??? that would be a perfect alternative me thinks)

people are really soft these days,but i dont think there death is the solution,death never is the solutions,and everyone deserve a chance,sure they knew what they did was wrong,i think that if u say that someone deservers to die,cause he killed a person,u arent any better than the murderer himself,when u say something like that is truely merciless,and is a revenge act,its not justice its just revenge.

To be able to do an act this heinous strongly suggests that there is something very, very wrong with the brains of those kids. Therefore, I would argue that they should have been sentenced to involuntary medical and psychological experimentation in order to find out what made them do it.

The benefit of this is that there is a possibility to identify whatever deviations that caused those kids to torture and kill a three-year-old and maybe prevent future tragedies.
