Thread: Why would you let them go?

what they did was wrong...
but a few years in jail would change them...
they'd get beaten up..
called names...
they wouldn't have any friends..
they wouldn't have any toys...
they wouldn't have mummy there to look after them..
no tv...
no computer...
no playground to run around in...

Isn't that enough for a ten year old?????

they'll never forget what they did..
they'll carry the guilt of killing that boy forever....

imagine, the opening song for sesame street, being repeated over and over again....wouldn't that be absolute torture? you'd do anything to stop it, you'd go mad as a result of it....you'd eventually change your ways, wouldn't you?

time in jail is enough for them, whether it be 10 yrs, 50 yrs or a life time. The death sentence would be the easy way out - they'd probably float to heaven the next day. let them carry the guilt of knowing what they did to the boy, that is the cruellest method of torture of all...

I don't want to do bad things to them. I want to make sure (lawfully) that they aren't allowed to do that again. To inflict damage as a kind of revenge is equally wrong.

U think what these boys did is bad(well actually is really bad)but in that site there are much,terrible,horrible,cruel crimes try mary bell(i think ),a ten year old serial killer.

well The other boy has an abusive family, no wonder he's like that,
but alot of people get away/get out from the jail after killed once or thrice, so what make this one a special case?
and I don't like the way they freed those boys by giving them "new life" they should learn that life is unfair!
and blame the gov/parents/southpark not the child.

I'm sorry if i seem like a cruel person for saying that if it were me they wouldnt make it out of the court room.. but for me it's true.. i HAVE a 4 yo son and a 1 yo son.. i could not imagin some one ever EVER trying to hurt my william or christian.. when i think about it it makes me want to lock them in a dark closet for the rest of there lives.. i dont think its fair to the mother of that poor baby.. i wounder where she is and what she is thinking. and im simply amazed that it didnt drive her to commit suicide.. i would die if my babys were taken away.. im nothing without my boys..

Pardon me, but if you don't think that people who perform that sort of crime deserve to die, there is something wrong with you. Death is frequently the solution. Humans have a responsibility to their community. When they violate that responsibility, they deserve to be punished. When they violate it in a manner such as this one, they forfeit their humanity and deserve nothing more than death. It IS justice. Executing these creatures doesn't make you a murderer because, in my mind, they ceased being human when they committed these acts.

So the fuck what. Revenge is nothing but a word used to make people feel like what they're doing is wrong. Like I said if it was my kid I wouldn't be looking for justice. I would personally take justice into my own hands, and wouldn't care where or when.

They did check to see if they were mentally stable and there was nothing wrong with them.

Anybody notice how they made it seem like Rob was who leader but as you go on through their history Jon is actually the more in charge and dangerous. But either way both should've gotten life.

Who gives a fuck about right and wrong with an occasion like that?!?!?!?! just kill the bastards! i dont give a flying fuck if they've supposedly "reformed," but a crime like that is inexcusable! they need to die! and painfully!
also, who gives a shit whether it's "revenge" or "justice." if that was your 3 year old that got killed like that, you wouldnt care. don't preach about things that you could never understand. if that was your kid, you would be out for those guy's BLOOD. i know i would. i'd carry a knife and a gun with me at all times, just in case i came in contact with them. and they would be razor sharp and loaded.
