Oh god, another month of the media and highstreet stores jumping on the band wagon and whoring themselves to the punters, despite the fact that we are gonna get to the quarter/semi finals and lose like we always do.
Not only that, but good TV shows that are actually worth watching (like Top Gear, whose season ended early to make way for the football) get canceled to make way for some over paid pussies in shorts who want to kick a ball about. So excuse me if I'm not overly enthusiastic about it.
On another note, over on gamespot, in a trans atlantic grudge match (playing FIFA world cup of course), the UK handed the yanks their asses on a tray with a 5-0 ass kicking. I know I'm gloating, but since England is not gonna win the real thing anyway, I at least want something to be proud of.
