Natural desasters happen. You just have to clean up and get over them and consider yourself blessed because you didn't die in the action.

at least some people are intelligent about these things. @kaya- if youre so worried about them getting money, then why don't you send them some?
the thing is, if you feel sorry for them, but arent going to do anything to help, then what you really need to do is stop bitching and moaning about something that doesnt relate to you in the slightest. if you had relatives there, then it might be okay, but the fact is, you're not doing anything to help. so untill you do anything, shut up.

At least there won't be another serious one in that (local at least) area for at least a few hundred maybe even a thousand years.

Ditto, I don't really have any ties to Indonesia, but I do understand what happens when a natural disaster comes your way. So, I'll donate money to the relief fund in hopes that when something bad comes to my area someone will do the same (and something bad will come my way).

I'm not going to give false intentions are prayers. I will simply the fact that I understand, and hope that the people who survived will pick up the pieces and rebuild. You have to move on.

Exactly. Unless you do help out, you cannot criticize people who don't. Hell, i'm not the best person in the world. i'm an irresponsible 16 year old, and i don't do much to help people out regularly. but, i have donated to relief funds, and even though it was a small amount (due to my lack of funding), it's the thought/gesture that counts.

    1) Laughter is a part of healing, as I said. Being able to laugh helps. I'm not saying I don't have sympathy...did you even read my first post? And what the hell does "bitchin' up" mean?

    2) I believe he was talking about his post.

Quite being so defensive. You don't own this tragedy; if people want to laugh about it, let them.

Generally, you should place more importance in your own actions, then those of others. As you are responsible only for yours, not theirs.
