Although I couldn't sat whether or not American culture is their own or not, they certainly spread it across the world enough to believe its their own. But thats mainly thorugh the media.

Anyway I'll continue... That usually the United States (which I will now call the Republic, because it is more fun to type) is considered a melting pot culture like France, Singapore, and Germany, but the main difference is that because the Republic is so large it has many sub cultures that are integrated in to the Culture (ie. Cajuns, Southerners, Italian Americans, Afro Americans....ect..) So, I like to stay that it really isn't a melting pot but more of a gumbo...teehee...

Also, the speeding of the Republic’s culture: The part of the culture that is being spread most profoundly would be American Pop Culture (which in it self is a new phenomena, because of TV) Also, some American foods are spreading around the world, but so are other cultures foods. (My hobby is eating new types of food….^-^ I love going out and tasting stuff I’ve never had before)

@mudd0000000: Dude, I explained that in my first post, and then adressed it again in this one... Chill dude.

I was just expressing my hatred for everyone. And I was showing that it was on an even deeper level then what you explained it.

    and i hate you all.

    hollywood movies.

mm I think US is the most unique country compared to any other country, unlike other country, US uses completely different use of units, miles-kilometer, inch-centimeter, USgallon-litter, OMG US gallon! (how many types of gallon are there?)
quart-ounce, etc Also in US SMS is not popular, instead internet/email/aim/msn are popular in US, but in other country is the other way around.
also when you meet a person that you know/don't know, you say "How are you?" and then you walk away
that's not happening in other country, I think.

mm interesting, what kind of food/meat you've tried?
