Favorite Ballistic Weapon
My favorites include the:
Glock 26 Advance and the Glock 18C Full Auto Pistol
of those two, I think the top (Glock) is a gorgeous piece of weaponry. Nothing beats a pretty revolver though. Got any hot pix of those Ish? (wb)
Colt Python 357 6' But I prefer the Biohazard
Beretta M92F Biohazard3
I was thinking something a little bit more... big (a la Vash...?). Though I imagine that first one is satisfying to hold.
Got any pics of something a bit more Vash-like? So far, the first Glock is my favorite.
Does Vash's gun even exist in reality?
Bah, very little interest in guns.
My friend had a scale model of it, and it was actually very impressive looking.
I think it does, can't remember where I read it though.

Well, if we are talking about good guns, here is a short(very short, I wish I could add more) list.
1. Schmidt Ruben K-31 Mauser:
An amazing bolt action rifle made by the swiss, almost 100 years old now, and still among the best made rifles ever. Good shooters can achieve sub-minute of angle accuracy with these guns with only slight modification, and novices at shooting can still get minute of angle accuracy with no modification to the gun at all. Minute of angle accuracy means that at 100 yards, the group of shots will all be within 1 inch of each other, 2 inches at 200 yards, ect. This means that it is a VERY accurate rifle. To get a new rifle with this level of accuracy made these days will probably set you back at least $6000, however, you can buy these babies for under $200 at gun shows. It is a bolt action rifle, meaning it can take wear and tear, and abuse and hard conditions, and has a six shot clip(remember, a bolt action rifle is not semi-automatic, it fires one shot and then must be reloaded). The only downside to this gun is that the ammo for it is scarce, but with knowledge of reloading ammunition, this problem is rectified.
2. H&K P7 - A rare gun, with an unorthodox frame(notice the wierd thing on the grip, that is the safety, you must pull that back in order to fire it). Though it hasn't been in great production since the 70's, it is still considered one of the best made and most accurate handguns around, with amazing engineering put into making it. Both this and the rifle above it are considered to have been "made like swiss watches."
3. Sig P229s - Amazing gun made by SigArms, one of the premier weapon manufactorers today. It is a matchgrade pistol that fires .40S&W and .357Sig(my favorite pistol round, the power of the .357 magnum in an automatic pistol) and is hand made and hand tuned for accuracy. Plus it looks sweet!
4. Lastly, since someone requested a cool big handgun, I give you the Smith and Wesson Model 500. It fires the new .500 S&W, a round so big that you can hunt big game like bears with it, and so powerful that they had to design a special frame for this revolver. This is one big and mean sucka, and I don't know who I pitty more, the one shot by this, or the one that has to do the shooting.
P.S. - Vash's gun is a revolver that fires .45 auto, an automatic cartidge as opposed to a revolver cartridge(automatic does not mean that it fires full auto, only that it automatically cycles another round in the chamber, basically, it is any gun that does not look like a revolver). This is not an easy gun to make, nor is it a practical gun to make, for there is really no reason to make something like that. However, I believe I have heard of a Russian company that makes a revolver that fires .45 auto.
It is, however, based loosely off an actual revolver, the Mateba, shown here:
Edit: I forgot to mention: GLOCKS ARE CRAP!!! They are just pieces of junk with a name. Very little accuracy, and not very practical guns, in my opinion, the plastic frame makes for too much recoil. Originally, the Glocks were alright, and revolutionary in their own way, but all the nrewer glocks are crappy, and shoddily made. A blunderbuss, I think, would be more accurate than some of the Glocks they are churning out these days.
