    我好Q鍾意你牙!!

actually, canto is harder to learn to speak due to the fact that you have no "ping ying" to guide you

Who would want to learn Cantonese anyway? It is in my opinion, the ugliest soudning dialect of Chinese of them all.

cantonese to me is quite hard coz i my dialect was hokkien/teochew. there is not much of a diff in those 2 except some words and their tone. Hokkien sound more crude though...

I very good in chinese though. Be it read or write. But there is a diff though in countries. (example) Taiwan use traditional (it looks a bit like drawing) pinying and words but in Singapore, pinying uses alphabets and the character written is simplified.

Cantonese is easier, I find. Mandarin sounds prettier, but it's harder to learn, especially if you haven't been exposed to it as a young child.

Without a doubt Japanese is the easiest of the main Asian languages, though.

Thanks for all the help guys!
I'd have to agree that Japanese is the easiest of them all too, still takes a long time to master though. I'm almost good enough for when i go next year

As for chinese, i want to visit someday, so i figured the language would be an advantage to have. I am, however, far more interested in Japan (partly because i speak Japanese).
