Im trying to get started on this comic idea i have. Just trying to get the style i want going. I dont want the comic to go into the animeish comic style. Hopefully this summer i can get it started. The question tho is where can i show it -_-'

IH draws a manga that has a bunch of stuff about the people on HS. It's called "Demon Eyes" and there's a link on the chit chat page for anyone who's interested.
I tend to write fanfiction instead of drawing doujinshi, but I have thought of creating my own manga. Somehow it seems...wrong...to re-draw existing characters in a different story. You can actually see them. It's wrong.
Demon Eyes is really good. ^_^ I wanna be a Demon Eyes fangirl!

Ever since I was still in elementary I've been conceptualizing a particular story in mind for a manga. It's been more than 7 years now and I've still yet to make a page. Hopefully after I graduate in college I'll start on the manga. If things go my way I could even have it published. Hopefully. I'm currently being attacked by the mangaka's worst sickness, laziness.
Daijoubu! Saa, mae ni susumou taiyou wo itsumo mune ni...
Tsunaida te tsutawaru Power negai wo tsukamaeyouyo!

I actually have been drawing manga for a coupla years. My style developed to a cross between realistic/mangaish, and i hosted a webcomic called Candid Bandit on Drunkduck.com for a coupla years, and it was pretty popular until the site died *weeps*. Hopefully when i get time i'll continue it. I've been working on another story for a few years, and as soon as its writtin and the concept is finalized, i'm going to draw it and send it into some companies. I wanted to do that this summer, but i'll prolly end up doing it once i'm done my degree next year. hopefully....
IMO, creating comics is so rewarding. It combines storytelling, drawing, design, and playing in photoshop...all the best things!! And nothing is better than getting feedback from readers, and knowing people appreciate your work. I strongly recomment hosting a webcomic, its a lot of fun ^_^
