Thread: Silent Hill

I watched the movie last night and to say the least I was impressed with the movie overall. Did anyone see it? Cuz I'd like to discuss it with you guys...

ima see it either friday or after i finish my 10 week eg project.. i heard it was pretty good and im really hyped theres a videogame movie that most likely wont suck total ass!

i heard it wasnt scary just a lot of gore. i kinda dont want to see it cuz the idea is from a video game.

just cuz its from a videa game doesnt meen its going to be crappy (although other game movies would prove other wise...). I actaully liked the games alot and I am looking forward to seeing the movie. As far as being scary, I find all scary movies to be not so. I dont know whether its because I've played scary/gory games (silent hill, etc) and been watching scary/gory movies/television since i was little and have just become desensitized to such things now or that movie makers just arent doing a good enough job trying to scare me.

Well, on it's own it's a pretty decent show. It's not really what I would call a Silent Hill movie though. So that's where it errs. Had they just called it, A series of rare and mysterious occurances in Ashville, it would have been better.

i havent seen it yet but my friends say that its pretty scary..... and the environment looked exactly like the one in silent hill the Game! im a big fan of silent hill geme series so i CANT wait to see the movie ^_^

Silent Hill 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, so I'm definitely going to see it. My brother saw it and said it was kind of disappointing, but that it looked and felt great.
