Y is good because it has everything. Ninjas, lesbians, monkies, explosions; how can you lose?

Transmetropolitan is fucking amazing. Most of Warren Ellis' work is really cool to read. Planetary, Global Frequency, etc.

I really like the Ultimates line, though I am quite pissed at what they did to Deadpool in Spider-Man. Though I gotta love Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury, and the varying character flaws every character has. It keeps things interesting.

I have read the first forty issues of Hellblazer, and I am not impressed. Is it worth continuing? Can I fast forward a bit? I'm really, really enjoying Lucifer and the Sandman, though. I like Constantine, just not in his own comic.

Rising Stars is another good read, as it was created by the Babylon 5 guy.

Kingdom and Kingdom Come are really good.

After reading a variety of Alan Moore's works, I understand why he is pissed at DC at completely screwing his comics up. LXG, for example. I like the V for Vendetta adaptation, but Moore's a schtickler for that type of thing. It does make me worried that they'll screw up the Watchmen, which is my favourite work of his.

OMG! You read a friggen new issue you have to start from the begining. This isn't a comic you can just start from a random stoy line.Gah! You can't understand whats going on because there is a lot of history you have to catch up on with in the comic.

can you give me a short rundown of fables serenity or THD777? are the humans from our world bad guys? it was the only issues i got and read.

@Tevesh: i like the ultimates line as well. one thing i dont like though is what they did with carnage and venom. and how they killed off gwen stacy so quickly. i liked ultimates, how the us was invaded and how the black widow is a traitor.

i read a summary of sandman, but it didnt sound too exciting. does it have good drawings and is the story really engrosing and good?

Humans don't even matter dude.....And no I will not summerize fables and I can't believe you just read a summary of the Sandman and thought that it didn't sound exciting.. Read the first trade of fables they are out if you don't want to buy it or got to a book store you can just down load it same for lucifer and sandman. You'll probally hate the art of the sandman because all you readed before is manga. So you just don't know better.

You must read Earth X and its sequel Universe X. Not even the heroes are heroes anymore, and everyone is a superpower. Except for Uatu. he's a cock.
I Second Rising Stars. Its so kick ass. Have you by any chance read Bone. A definite masterpiece from Jeff Smith.

I don't mind any of the changes, except the Rhino. Yes, out of all the new Ultimate things, I do not like Deadpool or how they redid the Rhino. That and I have not seen Ultimate Punisher, but I don't think the transition would be that much different, so I guess that's why they haven't done anything yet.

And the Sandman is pretty amazing. It sounds boring, and the art is very out dated, but the stories just drag you in. I didn't understand why people had such a hard-on for Gaiman before I read the Sandman, and now I know why. It's also one of the first graphic novels, rather than comic book.

DC++ (comic-shack), torrents (demonoid.com's good), some comic forums, also that ftp someone was asking about a few days ago (ftp.hugemassif.com) used to be a great source but, sadly, it's turned private now... i think
