has anybody here read the comic Y the last man standing? its pretty interesting heres a summary:

if you do read comics, what comics are you currently reading? whats good out there that i can try?

Yes, Y the Last Man has got to be the most awesome comic ever! How far in the series have you gotten? Also, in repetition you really should read Sandman; it's quite good.

Transmetropolitan is good.

Some writers to look for are Neil Gaiman, Frank Miller,Alan Moore, and Stan Lee. Just off the top of my head there are a bunch more but I can't think of them on the top of my head.

KingDarr don't be dumb, I've seen comics that that have been publish in amercia that have art styles far beyond anything you see in the best of Manga.

im up to date with y the last man. i heard of it on tv before a couple of years ago, but i never really knew where to get it. the dcp release i downloaded had the lasest issue on it, so i read it then got hooked. so i spent the next day downloading and reading all the issues of y the last man. i hope it doesnt end with the way that theatre toupe's production ended. i wouldnt want yorick to die. and no rose dont be dead! i hope she doesnt die that fast and easily and that dr. mann can keep her alive.

@serenity: i read some of fables, but it was kinda weird. i read two issues, the ones about the two wooden people who wanted to become flesh. it was pretty weird since after they became flesh, they became spies in for that empire to spy on our world. then they would go out and kill humans from time to time. i was confused and weirded out by the story.

@ScarletWitch: i read some of marvel vs dc when i was younger, it was ok. but i thought that the series was too short.

as for house of m, i only read about spiderman. the plot for spiderman during the house of m was so weird and dumb. so peter parker felt guilty at faking to be mutant, so he faked to be the green goblin to ruin himself and his family...sounds crazy to me...

For Fables, you really have to start from the beginning. They have the entire series (except for the newest arc(s)) in trade paperback. You should really pick it up.
