Honestly, why hasn't anyone tried it before? I'm shocked, really.
Fifty bucks says this is going to turn into another debate about AIs and all.

Colonizing the moon? I wouldn't be surprise if people are studying how to do it. I did a friggin research paper on how to create an outer space settlement. =_;;;;

EDIT
Because they obviously need my approval to get going on the project. :P

Robots on the moon...Definately sounds like a 60's sci-fi movie but a good idea if they can do it
Ag eiri an t-adh leo

Why do they even bother. The moon doesn't even have an electromagnetic field, let alone water or an atmosphere.

LOVELY_NIGHTMARE..I love Will and Chris!!
While all progress is good progress I find that I ask myself why we'd want to do this. Seriously, the moon is a lifeless, barren ball of rock and dust. Is there any benefit whatsoever in building a lunar base besides proving a point?
