It seems everyone's going on their own little way. Ishida is trying to regain Quincy powers. Chad is asking Kisuke for training. We don't know what Inoue is doing. Are they actually going to become strong and be helpful?

Mangaka only knows...
Sorry, couldn't resist.![]()
Sanity limits your options.
Ishida should become the spiritron-controlling god, Chad will probably be brought to a level at least equal to Rukia, and Inoue is already useful, she heals, remember?
Uryuu freaky, pale and geeky,
how do your powers grow?
"With gloves and scars and silver stars
and swords that I shoot from a bow,
yes, swords that I shoot from a bow."
According to Shounen laws, they should.
However so far, why have them around? With all the Soul Society captains and other powerful Shinigami(Yourichi, Kisuke) on his side, why should Ichigo bother with them for help?
The manga isn't finished though, not even near the end.
In time, they will most likely develop more and become the most useful.
Otherwise, well, they'd just be useless characters...
But Bleach has a lot of those.
I am the sig virus. Put me in your sig so that I may replicate.
They'll do something important again, even if they just do it once. The fact that they failed when the Arrancar attacked originally and are getting training (except for inoue, who's probably more likely to just not really fight anything and just sheild/heal people unless she wakes up some random rediculous power from herself at a critical moment, which is not that unusual for shonen manga to do) means that they'll have a few more fights like the ones in the SS left.
Given their orginial establishment to the series, it'd be a shock if they didn't. They were introduced, established, then given powers before any of the SS and Aizen stuff started, why would he bother if he was going to just throw them away?
A better question is why do people just sort of accept that fact that Chad was capable of pulling light poles from the ground and swinging them? I've never once seen anyone raise any sort of question where he got that sort of power.

maybe..
Chad - his whole body filled with that armor which he already has on his hand..
Ishida - will have his Quincy powers again and at da same time.. awaken his high potential of Quincy powers..
Inoue - I dun reli noe bout her.. cos she doesnt seem 2 care.. (maybe she is secretly trainin) she needs 2 improve her Tsubaki attack..![]()
Even if they become useful, im totally against them having captain level strength, even though it is shounen, there's got to be a limit.
hmmmmm.. true.. but i tink it ll be better.. if each of them has their own super ability.. like Inoue (healing/protection barrier) Chad (super strength) Ichigo (swordsman) Ishida (mastermind)..
well they already have these abilities.. but i reli hope they just improve on that skill alone..and have teamwork!!! i wan more teamwork.. depend on one another 2 defeat the enemy.. not one on ones,, its gettin kinda boring..
it reli was sad 2 read da part of da manga where Ichigo asked Chad to backed off n leave him 2 fight dat Arrancar..
Chad used to fight along wit him all da time.. n just cos Ichigo got his bankai.. he asked Chad to leave.. no good.. no good.. but good storyline.. hehe..

If Ichigo didn't ask him to back off Yami would have killed him. He didn't have no business fighting hollows anyways, the only reason why Chad and Inoue are involved is because of Ichigo and that's it. But Ichigo is different, as a shinigami it is his duty. i know at the time he wasn't an official one but still he is a shinigami.
