Ichigo and Co VS Remaining SS Captains

from the direction the 221 chapter thread is going i belive this is needed... i want to see how many people are ignorant enough to seriously believe that Ichigo is actually stronger than any of the remaining SS Captains. After defeating his hollow side/Zangetsu (?) suddenly it LOOKS like ichigo is stronger, but remember he was fighting himself. he didnt need much more power to overcome him! please stop ranting like this manga, no matter how shounen it is, is bad because Ichigo gets stronger as time passes! if youre foolish enough to think that Ichigo is gonna A) fight the espada alone, B) Defeat those espada (=_=), C) not train for a decent amount of time because of what he got from "Kenpachi", or D) learn some new mega techinique that will give him an unfair advantage... youre a fucking moron!

there are still 9 captains left in SS and one captain on earth whos power we DO NOT KNOW THE EXTENT OF!!! minus Byakuya and Kenpachi Ichigo never fought any of the other ones and we still dont know how strong Yamamoto, Shunsui, and Ukitake are cuz weve NEVER seen them fight! nevermind the fact that Yourichi and Kisuke are still on earth yet to do anything and we know that theyre stronger than Ulquilloa (sp?). AND the fact that we dont know what happens when Toushiros Bankai loses its 12th petal.

i am a firm believer in KTs storytelling abilities and as a hater of shounen manga his work has kept me compelled and interested against my better judgement! i doubt he would be as lame as to suddenly increase Ichigos power in a unique and quick way cuz thatd just be LAME!!! (the Youruichi training was the same training that Kisuke did so it was validated)...

give him a chance there are still tons of characters to explore and many ways this could turn out!






... oh and to answer my own title question, Ichigo would get totally owned by the SS Captians... hes strong but hes hella far away from their level, stop downplaying them like you know how strong they really are.

you're probably right, but...given that the captains dont seem to have any knowledge of the vizards (lazy sp.), while the reverse isn't true...makes me believe that the vizards are actually on par and if not stronger (maybe a tad bit) than the captains. Of course this is assuming that those who are stronger are better at hiding.

I think the internal fight, really just allows ichigo to better utilize the power he demonstrated against Byakuya (when he was transformed into a hollow). Other than that, I dont believe he's going to transcend everyone in terms of power and go god-mode. It'll probably end up being something like "...good Ichigo, now your real training begins" type of plotline

i believe it said that when toushiros bankai loses all the petal,s he loses his bankai. also, bakyuga was easily beaten by wichigo, and i think that bakyuga being a noble, would be one of the stronger captains. therefore, it would be reasonable to conclude that ichigo is now much stronger than most of the captains.

and plus he wasnt fightnig himself, he was fighting his inner hollow, the one who has come out multiple times and has pwned everyone.

nobility has nothing to do with strength, it has to do with status. just cuz youre nobility doesnt make you stronger and there are tons of captains that are stronger than byakuya! and byakuya only fought agianst ichigos hollow for like ten seconds! no doubt he probably would have lost but it was ichigo that beat him meaning BOTH of them are stronger than byakuya not Byakuya is stronger than ichigo and wichigo is stronger than byakuya, get it right!!!

the way it seems a captains power can easily be judged by how long he/she was a captain. new captains like Mayuri, Toushiro, Soi Fong, and Byakuya are OBVIOUSLY weaker than say Shunshui, Ukitake, Komamura, Tousen, and Unohana...

it was never said what happens when the 12th petal falls, the arancarr he was fighting guessed that that is what would happen, no proof has been said that it dissapears after the petal falls.

I'm sure that some of the captains are strongers than Ichigo, but that doesn't mean all of the ones that Ichigo hasnt fought would own him...also i don't think he will fight ALL of the captains...it seems unlikely he'd ever fight hitsugaya (to me at least)...anyways i cannot think of a way (from the current story line) that would force ichigo to go against all of soul society again

I think that the fact that Ichigo beat two captains that were in their best condition, while he was badly injured, is a pretty good sign of himself being at least on par with the other captains. Kenpachi also took on two captains himself after just recovering from his loss to Ichigo, and won.

Sure, you can say that Kenpachi was taking it easy on Ichigo for part of the fight, but then again in order to beat Tousen he had to let himself get stabbed multiple times aswell.

I don't think he's able to beat Yamamato though, he's a beast. Even the two most experienced captains (after Yamamoto himself, that is) fighting together against him didn't think they'd have much chance of making it out alive.

I dont think that Ichigo can beat the other captains if they chose to really go all out. If you think about iy for most of the fight with Byakuya he wasnt taking Ichigo seriously and even after the fight Byakuya didnt lose he just chose to surrender to Ichigo. I mean after the fight Ichigo could barely walk while Byakuya just casually walked away.
I think Ichigo would prove a fair fight if he used all of his power and skill but against most captains he would still lose. If he fought against almost any Vice-Captain though I think he would own them but against almost all of the captains hed get owned. But then again the chances of him having to fight any more captains is slim unless of course he joins up with Aizen which probably wont happen unless he finds out that what SS is doing is somehow wrong or something like that.

MDM its not like math where 2+4 > 1+4 ... kenpachi is probably the only one that could fight and win against tousens bankai because hes the only one that could live through getting stabbed 20something times. Komamura isnt exactly powerful compared to his colleagues so youre comparison is kinda baseless.

simply saying Ichigo beat Kenpachi and Kenpachi beat Tousen and Saijin so its true that Ichigo is stronger than Tousen and Saijin is just stupid logic.

umm i'd go reread that chapter if i were you. They both are injured in that final strike, and Ichigo tells himself "I WILL NOT FALL!" Bayakuya is injured just like Ichigo, and says, you have won. THEN HE FALLS TO THE GROUND!
ichigi beat him. bayakuya did kind of surrender at the end, but he was also beaten.
