HERE ARE THE AGES OF THE CHARACTERS IN BLEACH:
Rukia: 150 (ten of ichigo's lives, remember chapter 1? 15x10=150)
Ichigo: 15
Chad: 15
Orihime: 15
Ishida: 15
Yuzu: 10
Karin: 10
Kiego: 15
Kojima: 15
Bakuya: 400+
Isshin (ichigo's father): 34 years in a gigai (how long he was a soul reaper before that, i dont know)
Urahara:
Renji: 150
Tatsuki: 15
Chizuru: 15
Ukitake: 100+
Shunshi: 1000+
Yamamoto: 1000+
Yoruichi: 500+
Hitsugaya:15+ (not sure)
Sajin: 300+
Tousen: 300+

actually, ichigo and company should be about one year older, right? if i remember correctly, the manga DID begin around the freshman (first) year of high school, so Ichigo, Chad, 'Hime, Ishida, Keigo, and Kojima would be 15-16. However, school did end, remember? Ichigo and co. went to SS during summer vacation. Now, the school year has started up once again, so it should be around one "year" since the manga started. If this is true, wouldn't Ichigo and his classmates be 16-17 (not 15-16) aka SOPHOMORES(second year) in high school?

Shunsui and Ukitake joined the first academy with Yamamoto at the same time. No way Shunsui is the same agae as Yamamoto.

Hitsugaya:15+ (not sure)

ALOT older than that. He's around 120ish if we use Rukia as a measure. In the Omake, he was only a few years younger than Momo (ya, forget her name). Seeing as Momo joined the same time as Renji and Rukia, it would make sense.

Tousen: 300+

He's gotta be at least as old as Komamura since they've met in their flashback.

Aizen: 400+

Older, since he's been in Seiretei (as a VC) before many of the captains became their positions.

The Japanese school system is different from the American. There is no 9th grade in their high school, so they all start off as Sophomores techniqally.

Summer Vacation only lasts for 1 month (about), and it is only a vacation. The actual ending school term is around Feb (ish).

The Japanese school year begins in April. The summer vacation is one month, around July (I believe). The year ends in March, and there are two weeks until the new year.

Japanese high schools begin in grade 10 when the students are 15-16.

yeah yeah, i made some mistakes. but i tried to be as accurate as possible from the information i had. besides, you have to piece together the ages of most of the Soul Reapers from what you read...

Since the normal characters' ages were already stated, so I'll cover the captains:

Yamamoto: He's older than 2000, as he created the Shinigami academy over 2000 years prior to Bleach's storyline.

Soi Fong: She became a captain in the last century, so likely not older than 250

Ichimaru: He also became a captain in the last century, so up to some 250 years again.

Unohana: We don't know about her age, but likely she's quite ancient and one of the oldest captains.

Aizen: Probably pretty ancient too, we know he's younger than Ukitake, Shunsui and Yamamoto, and we know he's older than Soi Fong, Ichimaru, Kenpachi, Tousen, Komamura, Hitsugaya, Mayuri and Byakuya. So I guess he's anywhere between 300-2000. I'd place him at 1000+.

Byakuya: He became a captain after adopting Rukia, so less than a 150 years ago. I'd say he's 200-300.

Komamura: He's younger than Yamamoto, Shunsui, Ukitake, roughly the same age as Tousen, older than Kenpachi and Hitsugaya and most likely older than Soi Fong, Ichimaru, Byakuya and Mayuri, as there are bound to be more captains that've been around for longer than a century. So anywhere between 300 and over a thousand. I'd say a little less than a 1000, like 700 or 800.

Shunsui: Around 2000 years old, along with Ukitake. They've been the first two captains to emerge from Yamamoto's Academy.

Tousen: Roughly the same age as Komamura, so 300+, up to over a 1000. I'd say some 700 or 800.

Hitsugaya: Around 100 years old.

Kenpachi: Younger than both Komamura and Tousen, as they've been already captains when he became one. I'd also say he's likely older than Hitsugaya, Soi Fong, Ichimaru, Byakuya and Mayuri, as they've all became captains in roughly the same time, so ANOTHER captain younger than around a century would be too much. I'd say at least 300 years, but he could be both younger and older than that.

Mayuri: He became a captain during the last century, because Urahara fled 100 years ago. I'd say up to some 250 years.

Ukitake: Around Shunsui's age, so some 2000.
