Thread: is this a cycle or somethin'??

since ichigo beat kenpachi(well,almost,but now he's a lot stronger),and kenpachi beat tousen, and tousen easily cut off grimmjaw's arm, how the heck did ichigo get so beat up against grimjaw???
i mean, it doesn't make much sense

What it means is that this is a shounen series, so you can just forget about common sense. Anyway, the problem here is that after SS arc Tousen has presumably become infinitely stronger thanks to the Hougyoku(or something), so right now (former) Kenpachi and Ichigo alike stand no chance against either of them.

or maybe tousen was trying to lay low and had some limit imposed on him by aizen so no part of his plan got fucked up.

Aizen didn't need to limit anyone at all. Everyone played their parts in his plan perfectly.

i mean maybe it was part of his plan to have everyone show one form of themselves with their true selves in the background. In terms of strength it would make sense that tousen didnt just surpass the strongest of the captains in soul society just like that. There wasnt enough time to get that much stronger if he wasnt already that way...or maybe it is just shonen manga and that is all the explaination that is needed

._.;;; That's not true since Tousen really wanted to save his justice by killing off Zaraki.

He got stronger in a little amount of time because (maybe) he was turned into a hybrid, and so it broke the limit barrier.

It was his bad arm. Duh. Like come'on. If he want for the good arm, he would have just shrug'd it off.

Just because you beat Bob who beat Joe doesn't mean you're stronger than Joe.

It's not a simple matter of whose 'stronger'.

Some people work well against others.

The situation of each fight was completely different.

Tousen lost completely to Kenpachi, who got bored and left. And who knows how much Tousen was actually trying in that battle?

Kenpachi just decided to call it a 'draw' against Ichigo. Plus, Ichigo is the main character. He has his own special set of rules.

Tousen only cut off Grimjaw's arm. Who knows if they actually fought in an even ground.

Grimjaw is a new bad guy. Of course he has to be mega stronger than Ichigo.

does no body know Kenpachi techique ??? the whole bubble of darkness and silence thing he getting happening. Grimjaw couldnt have defended the attack.And a arm is just a arm after all. and if Kenpachi is like the right hand of Aizen he would be pretty uber dont u think.

Tousen Bankai is .... not moron proof.

We dont know if Tousen can do Grimjaw or not. His behavior show...no. Grimjaw stand down just becaused of Aizen

Ichigo Gatsuga can cut Grimjaw... he just afraid of the Hollow. And im sure the the hollow play a big part in beating Kenpachi.
