Bleach Anime Licensed By Viz
This is official and I am not making this up. According to AnimeonDVD and this report, Viz has aquired Bleach anime. There has been rumors to Viz aquisition, but this makes it official. On a plus note, according to the reports, Cartoon Network is thinking of placing Bleach in their Adult Swim program. So expect, if any, very little editing to the tv programming.

For those who still wish to watch the anime, expect at least Dattebyo to continue subbing the series.

well guys viz decided to finally bring Bleach to the states, this is acording to anime on dvd

"According to this report from C21 Media back on February 6th, Viz Media has acquired the Bleach anime in order to push more into the teen anime market. This comes at a time when a recent Cartoon Network interview has the commentator talking about how Bleach is very much an Adult Swim oriented show and would fit well in their line-up. Time that with Inu Yasha getting closer to finishing and it looks as if Viz Media is lining things up for their next big TV push in addition to Naruto."

At first I said oh hell but if its going on Adult Swim it will hopefully not be that bad now if it was on Toonami or 4Kids Id have a seizure and die....

Well, if its going to be on Adult Swim, i guess its ok. As long as That Toonami crap doesnt get it. Is this going to effect the manga translations in anyway?

well have fun with your adult swim bleach you bastards!! We here in the U.K. get the cartoon network, we get all the 4kids crap, we get toonami, but we don't get adult swim for some unknown reason! And to top that off, they haven't even bothered to bring Naruto over here on dub yet. *sigh* Rant over, i'm a bit peaved that I have to download EVERYTHING I want to watch......

I hope this won't make the episodes harder to download.

as long as the translations continue i wont complain

well, i hope they at least do a half decent dub like naruto instead of a horrible failure like one piece... Man, it would be best if they just left it subbed. It would make everyone happy.(except for illiterate kids, but they dont watch adult swim anyways)
