Thread: Ichigos father

Hi, i dont know is this is a ''true'' obseveson (wrong spelling, i know) but in book 11 chapter 98 on page 12, the one where Renji finds Rukia talking to her brother, there is two men there whos head we dont see, but one of them has a figure (probobly wrong spelling again) that looks like ichigos dad, and the beard looks alot like it, what do you guys think? am i stupid or can i be on to something?

Nah. Ressemblence is too small. His chin is too flat.
Also, it'd mess up the storyline, Isshin is supposed to be a very strong captain, so one would assume he's been a captain longer than Byakuya, and, seems more likely he'd be from a different family too.

but you have to admit that looks a lot like ichigo's father, too flat? looks alright to me. but when you think about logically, visual similarity will only be very simple if they wanna relate it to isshin. like trade marks

If it was meant to be Isshin, I believe Kubo would've made it more clear. What use is a reference if it's unclear and no one noticed it? This really is a detail, rather than a "subtle hint". Seems like it's more a big guy with a similar beard as Isshin. =\
And for the chin:

The shape is different, I'd say. More pointier. The head's thinner too.

Maybe that old man next to Byakuya is Hirako is disguise. :O

No, no if you watch carefully Hirako is the shinigami at the far left... he was there to take a look at Rukia since he already knew that she will meet Ichigo in the future (but we don't know why yet). Awesome! That's planning ahead!

there are many more threads on isshin. search for them
