Thread: Hirako from the beginning?

I dunno if this has ever been pointed out before (forgive me for not looking at every thread) but did anyone else notice that Hirako is in the very first Bleach chapter? It's only his picture in one of those boxes behind the posing Ichigo and Rukia but there's definitely nobody else who looks like that. I was just wondering if that meant he was planned as a Vaizaado (or whatever) from the very beginning or just that Tite Kubo planned on using a character that looked like that from the beginning?

Probably some character that he knew he was gonna use later on. I mean, I haven't even seen the person all the way to the left either.

So how far ahead do you think mangakas usually think up their stories before they start them? Sometimes it seems like they really are just making them up on the fly with each new chapter but you've gotta think SOME of them know where the story is going really far in advance. If you think about it, not THAT much has happened in Bleach yet (they were in Soul Society forever) so creating Hirako's character from the very first chapter isn't totally out of the question is it?

well, u guys have to remember that the grand fisher escaped, and u see his mask being broken ALL the way in the beginning. I mean, that shows that arrancar were already in Kubo Tite's head.

Hahah I don't think I quite deserve that as the only reason I caught it is because I'm a bit obsessive with manga and have started to buy the actual volumes of everything I'm reading (which is definitely going to kill my wallet). Having read up to where it is now, rereading the first volume allowed me to catch that pic.

Nice =] I own all the bleaches, but I refuse to touch them, haha. Along with all my other manga.

Hah, to keep them in perfect condition or because they have no use to you since you have it all on a computer?

And for topic, although slightly on a tangent, I really hope Hirako gets his own volume cover. He is so creepy and great!
