just wondering if someone could tell me exactly what volume we're up to, what chapter it starts and ends with, and what chapters the last volume started and ended with, because ive looked it up and several different places have different chapters so recently ive just been estimating for the most part. (if you know a place where youre ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that they have the right numbers, that would work just as well.) ^.^; and also, could you tell me where i could find the volume covers for volumes 18 up to whatever we're on now? i'd appreciate that. ^__^

Volume 20: Chapters 169-178 , -12.5 (an extra - I haven't read it)

The character profiles for Shunsui and Ukitake are in one of those last five volumes, but I'm not sure which.

Those are from a Japanese website ( http://www.j-bleach.com/ ) where you can view the first few pages of each volume online...including the table of contents. As for volume covers...I don't know, can't help you there. I usually just come across them individually from time to time.

I'm very happy about who's on it. The volume contains chapters 179-187.

What I decided we should discuss here are the potential reasons for each character being on the cover of any particular volume and the little poem-esque things written on the first page of each volume. Are the characters on the volumes in order of importance, introduction, because they're important in that volume? Or are they just randomly assigned? What about the titles, too? Actually, could someone translate some of them? Like Wijnruit?

And about the poem...things. Does anyone have translations of them past around volume six or so? I'd be really interested in them. Maybe some group, somewhere, could release them as some sort of extra. I also find the particular part of each character that's drawn there interesting. Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but ones like Kira's make me wonder.

Hey, Ichigo's poem-thing from volume one (from the Toriyama's World translation) is: "Because we are amorphous, we hold that in reverance."

Now someone tell me that "amorphous" doesn't do a good job of describing Ichigo, especially right now when he's having an identity crisis.

(I did all this because I didn't want to write a conclusion for my English essay? I need to find better ways to procrastinate...)
