    I agree with this answer

I think that if they all got espada-whacking powers it would get kind of dull. And if their powers were less that espada-whacking, it would be kind of pointless.

Good things comes to those who work for it.
Chad is willing to work hard to become stronger...
    i believe he will.

Tatsuki and Keigo doesn't seem to have any unique
abilities like that of Chad and Orihime...
They'll probably have a chance to be shinigamis
in their after life... but not now.

The captains are so gonna get owned unless they
find a way to get stronger. My reasoning... Ichigo is
of captain level and he couldn't even be on par with
    one "Vastorode" Arrancar with Bankai.

But i'm interested to see if Zaraki has mastered Shikai.

-First I was never too keen on regular humans be it Orihime or Chad gettin powers because it doesn't go with the plot the story. But since the KT actually did it so i guess i'll have to accept it. And Yes Chad will get stronger but i'd suck if he can match a captain. What can Orihime do besides Healing?
-Tatsuki and Keigo getting powers will be too cliche, next thing you know every regular humans will get powers, i wasn't down with it before so im definitely not down with it now.
-about ichigo struggling, I don't know if you remember this but, when his hollow came out in the fight against Byakuya he said that Ichigo was really weak because he got crushed by his bankai's reiatsu, that's why he was slowing down.

    @Akit0
I thought about this too, since they are all Isshin's kids, and after Ichigo the one we should watch out more is Karin since she also can see the ghost clear as day just like Ichigo so there is a definite possibility of her being one. Yuzu can't really see them, she only sees a blur. But I don't think Isshin would risk his daughter becoming a shinigami-hollow like Ichigo.

I want to know if there's even a reason behind Chad's inhuman strength and endurance.

I'm not talking about his powers, I'm talking about him having a steel beam land on him, him being hit by a motorcycle and walking away, him RIPPING a telephone pole out of the ground and swinging it inhuman strength.

Hell, unless KT decided to stretch reality with him on those, Chad could already be something more than human.

And people who complain that humans getting powers is against the plot need to be reminded that Chad and Orihime had powers before we even met other Shinigami.

    Again, this is speculation only...

I wrote what I wrote because it is pretty obvious that Chad is severely handicapped in the speed department.

No matter how much speed training he gets, he won't (likely) reach a level that would allow him to match the foes he is likely to meet.

Hence my thoughts on him training to further beef up his strength and toughness ... from the super-tough Zaraki Kenpachi.

Chad is already tough and strong. All he needs is to get even tougher and stronger so that he can afford to take the best an opponent has to offer, then counter-attack, e.g. what (Samurai Champloo's) Jin's late sensei taught him.

Meaning, the faster opponent draws first blood, but it is Chad who lands the final blow, perhaps in that moment between the time when the opponent's strike hits and Chad's body reacts to it (before he is knocked back, maybe).

If possible, train to be just fast enough to be like Kenpachi - to be strong enough to survive an opponent's best strike, yet fast enough to counter-attack before the effects of that strike is felt (like he did when he fought Tousen with most of his senses suppressed, relying solely on his combat reflexes).

    Again, this is all speculation.

OMG how stupid that was! The simple fact of taking an opponent strike to counter attack is desperate move to kill the opponent sacrificing himself. When Tousen hit Kempachi it was so lame i wanted to scream. What if Tousen had just chopped the head off? What stupid tactic is that?

In Samurai Champloo it was clearly stated that such a tactic is like sacrificing the life in exchange of the opponent's life. It's suicide and it was used only at the end. It's not something that you can count on on every fight....

That (the Samurai Champloo mention) was just an example of what I was thinking of. That's why Chad should beef up some more, so that he can downright take damage (with a lower risk of death or serious injury) that would have slain any other.

Makes better sense - to me - than having him achieving a speed boost to match others. Is it likely for Chad to gain that much more speed from training?

Anyway, that's how big, strong fighters can beat small, fast opponents.

Also: it seemed to me that it made little difference where Tousen chose to strike Kenpachi. So long as the latter could feel the attack, and react in time (he did, didn't he?).
