On White day, guys are supposed to give girls they like gifts. Valentine's Day in Japan, girls are supposed to give guys gifts. So they go hand-in-hand. BTW, White Day is on 3/14, one month after V-day.
Pocky Day is almost the same thing, except a person gives out Pockys instead. It's held on 11/11 (cuz it looks like Pocky sticks, Im assuming.)

I didn't know about the cat one until a few days ago when I read it while trying to learn some Japanese idioms (and how to write them in kanji). I guess it's not that well-known.
