Thread: Bleach 65

Well, well, well...

Bleach 64 made me hope. 65 makes me fear.

The episode is OK I guess, but it really doesn't have the feel of a Bleach episode.

In any case, I guess Ichida is going to be the next one abducted....

Kind of boring, at times. Villains are nicely weird and interesting though.
I kind of have the feeling they're also fake souls, like Kon. (notice how they're also portrayed as dolls, like Kon?)
They don't seem very evil. Maybe they're being ordered by those othere, more evil-looking characters that are also seen in the ending?

At least the start made it quite certain that these are just fillers rather than a different direction altogether.

I really thought about it watching this eps, and I actually like how they worked things, not just now but for the futrue.

They've established Renji in the world early, but set him up so that his fight will still make sense, just with a bit of a change.

As for the eps itself, it's the setup for the stuff to follow, so it's not all that great. 64 created all the mystery, 65 established the theme. We won't keep playing kidnap, since everyone worth kidnapping is gone(doubt they'd be interested in Ishida since he's basically just a normal human now) It'll be interesting to see exactly who these guys are. Hopefully it isn't something dumb.

Well, if the manga is respected, Ichigo and Renji shouldn't be aware of Ichida's loss of power.

If he's kidnapped, that's one problem solved....

I don't think they are mod soul, since these things do not seem to have any spiritual energy. Damn Urahara for not finishing his sentences!

Just because they don't kidnap him doesn't mean it's clear he's lost his power. After all, with recent events, making another kidnapping would be awful hard anyways. They're not going to just fall into another trap like they just did.

No, no, I meant, if he's not kidnapped, won't it seem strange that he isn't fighting? Ichigo already commented that he didn't bring his mantle.
If he's kidnapped, there won't be questions asked.

As for not falling in the trap... Maybe for Ishida, but we're talking also about Renji and Ichigo here. Strong, yes, but not the smartest pencils in the box exactly. [/quote]

That was unbelievable, i mean what was up with that game, ichogo should have gone bankai, and just got there like in a sec, what about the ShunPo(flash step) he just learned. This filler arc looked like it had promise on 64, 65 was dumb, but there is still more comming so we shall see.
