the beginning was not...but until when ichigo fought Ruki's brother...thats when it kind of started to change.....like the anime shows the talking first then the action...the manga shows the fighting then the talking.

ya it is like subtly different but like the whole hollow thoery changes and tons of other small stuff. ya read the manga u lazy bums takes 2 days max
i a defender of mangas(like naruto that i like more than the anime) but this time i will say that the anime its a litle better than the manga but its good to see both to take a desicion
sometimes the anime changes (or completely removes) scenes from the manga... i'm not sure if they're doing this to make the story flow better or because kubo thought that the anime could portray something a different way... or simply to extend the anime a couple more seconds...
but from what i've noticed recently, the anime is purposefully moving around joke scenes so that they can show them at the ends of the episodes.
correct me if i'm wrong.
Nah you're right on the money. I'm sure some have seen some manga to anime shows add new characters, story lines and everything. Anyone that has read Samurai deeper Kyo and seen the animes knows this can go wrong.Originally Posted by deusexsomnium

it is very close knit with the manga, but all that changes next week.
Can you wrestle a man with no arms? no, challenge him to boxing.

I think the anime is better in a way that you can actually watch the fight scenes instead of reading bout it and picturing in your head what it actually looks like. I think the anime was better.

Read the manga. In general, mangas tend to be better than animes. Watch the anime after you read the manga though b/c it is good too
manga's better in that you see the character development better in most cases. but i still love the anime. the color, the voice actors, and all the little other things make it worth while. In the case of bleach though, the anime's been sticking very close to the original manga so there's not much of a split between who likes anime and manga than in other cases. you're getting the same storyline in the end. you just have more detail in different areas.
