Thread: Combinations of arrancar armor and ban kai swords

This might be something that only Ichigo can do but I see the possibility of him using a ban kai and at the same time an armor like the other arrancar that can be used as a weapon. This is just from the fight with Byakuya and Renji that made me think that he could use his hallow mask to protect himself subconciously or even the hallow protecting him out of self preservation. Maybe in the furture we'll see his skin change into the color and design of his mask or he'll have a broken mask like arrancars or a full one that always seem to have made itself or one thats detachable like Hirako Shinji. Little side thought, has anyone thought about Chads power being arrancar like in origion? (his next level could be a bigger arm with more power)

1 - if Ichigo allows the hollow part of him to take over it won't be Ichigo no more

2 - Ichigo won't allow this to happen

3 - recheck the thread title, I think you can come up with something better than that

We have yet to see how Vizards release, Ichigo is a Vizard (Hirako says so). He may only be able to use his shinigame BanKai.

Personally, I kind of assumed that the Vizards work the same way as the shinigami, but with a higher potential.

I'm guessing they'll have a sort of berserker form where they let their hollow side run wild, or at least powers related to their hollow.

The only Vaizard that's gotten any real exposition is Ichigo, and the only possible difference between his releases and the releases of regular Shinigami is that Zangetsu is in a permanent Shikai form.
This is far from certain however since it could have other reasons, such as Ichigo having a Shinigami father, or simply that Zangetsu is a rare sort of Zanpaktou that is permanently released (Yoruichi implied that something like that was possible before Ichigo's Ban Kai training).

Regarding the original idea, I'd imagine that combining a Arankaru release with a Shinigami release is quite hard, since you can't be both an Arankaru and a Shinigami at the same time.

Well there has to be someway for him to go to the next level I mean...unless theres some super secret 3rd realease crap that nobody's done before...that would be stupid...

Got a chapter reference on that? Just for my own reading.

I've been thinking about something like that for a while now. Arrancar release their swords differently from shinigami; they fuse with the remants of the mask and then transform their bodies, it's not just armor. I was wondering whether a Vizored capable of doing that with bankai as a sort of third release would be the perfect balance between shinigami and hollow, an "ultimate being" so to speak.

Of course, one would have to master the inner hollow first, to be able to summon the mask at will without losing control...

Would be a good hobby for Ichigo, I suppose. It would be a good ulterior motive for having him be part-Hollow in the first place.
