Yes, the thing in pannel 10 in a doll/statue of Hitsugaya (which is the present). And the point of omakes, well... they're just bonus things the author write. They're just supposed to be amusing, in general.

Hummm...funny sorta. <_< But what I find the most amusing is the add in the last panel thing. yay gamecube :P

That's what I got out of Ukitake that chapter. Also, I was amazed that Ukitake didn't even cough this time. Even though it's an Omake, in almost every chapter he coughs at least once.

And yeah, I did find it odd that Ukitake didn't even cough. Well, whatever they were, I'm sure Tite had his reasons for not having Ukitake appear that healthy (maybe so he could make room for his little ad pannel at the bottom). Perhaps he was trying a new medicine that Unohana whipped up for him?

Maybe they finally got around to inventing antibiotics in SS. I don't think you exactly just get over TB, so he's probably not actually healed. Plus, it's an omake, it's not canon if it contradicts the main series.
