Well as wie know ichigos father was an previous captain, but we dont know of which division i think he was the one of the 4th division because they are focus on healing and i remeber that he is now a doctor sow that would make sense right?
btu i wonder what the ability of his sword is.

A doctor in the human world doesnīt use reiatsu, they work totally different, so this connection you made up sucks.
its not a terrible theroy, but his sword skiils are extremely high for a medic shinigami, even if it was the captain. also, despite the tattered robe, it hasn't been nailed down he was a captain. the luitenant of the first divsion wears a similar outfit. that being said he probably was a captain.
He himself says that anyone pass a captain class can control the size of their swords, which basically says outright he's a captain.
Crappy theory, for one a healing captain probably wouldn't be so overpowered, and also Unohana seems to be one of the older captains, so she's probably been there since before Isshin left, if he even was a captain.
He was a probably a captain I mean urahara and Youruchi know him and they're captains....but he's definately not the 4th cuz he wouldn't be able to kick so much ass.
He hasn't been a shinigami for 20 years, and yet it seems like no one knows who he is. Rukia has no clue who he is, and none of the others, even the captain, can seem to tell he's around. Granted, he seems to be missing basically all his power up until now, because you'd think he'd have done something about the various hollow attacks
The army of masks(I hate remembering all these names) guy had no clue who he was either.
So for him to have been just a normal captain would be rather strange, since no one seems to know him. So who knows.
The wierdest thing is that 20 years is nothing in soul society. although i don't think any captains gotten a look at him. Hitsugaya would be the one i would expect not to know, he is one of the newer captains.Quote:
