I would ahve to say that I like they way they did hollow/Ichigo in episode 59, and I also prefer the way they did the black getsuga.

I also wonder why Ichigo never mimics any of the moves he sees hollow/ichigo do, like he never tried spinning his sword around by the scraf.

    Default ichigo-hollow voice

I thought the ichigo/hollow voice fit in rather well...in a strange sort of way. I wasn't too fond of how they cut out Ichigo achieving Ban kai. It was like it...just happened. Come to think of it, they never showed Renji achiving either, he just left to go try to help out. I wonder if later on in the anime, when you meet all the other hybrids, if their voice will be as strange.

simple reason : its called story-telling, there has to be something called "suspense", otherwise the audience won´t bother to read/watch the show.

Yeah, it was more exciting seeing Ichigo's bankai for the first time in a fight than it would be watching him achieve it in the underground cave.

    hmm.

Regarding what may become of the anime due to the fact that it is quickly approching the end of the story arch, I just hope to sweet Jebus that they don't do a "Hellsing".

For anyone unfamiliar with this anime, the animated episodes themselves quickly caught up with the manga being produced. In an attempt at satisfying the fans (/maintaining profits at the expense of the reputation of the anime concept), the story completely deviated from that of the manga. This digression was so significant and rubbish, that the last half of the anime is completely different (introducing characters and story events never featured in the manga), and thus cannot (and should not) be compared to the developing story in the manga.

As a result, the mangaka himself identified with the abismal means by which his conceived story was violated, and swore to help in the production of a second series after he had progressed more with the manga. The second series is currently in the making (*YAY*), and shall accurately follow the manga, as was originally intended.

I most certainly hope that a similar degree of deterioration in quality is not reached by the Bleach anime, for I am familiar with many people who abandoned their appeal for Hellsing based on the later animated episodes (the fools). Although the news of the impending second series is most gratifying, it has been nearly 3 years since the final episode of Hellsing......an episode which left many people saying:
"What the f**k? So I HAVE to read the manga in order to understand what happens next then?"

I fear that similar consequences shall arise should the Bleach series follow this trend. There would be a substantial decrease in the popularity and esteem with which it is associated. I just hope they promise a second series, and put the anime on hold.
Although if it doesn't, then I'll simply spurn myself of the anime and persist with the manga.....as I have been all along ^_^

Fillers can be ok if they are done carefully. I see no reason why filler events can't be sent to mangaka for veto test and then become a legit 'cannon' part of the storyline. As long as your not screwing up what is already written fillers are ok. I only get pissed when the quality goes down *cough* *Naruto* *cough* *cough* because the Mangaka has nothing to do with them and concentrates soley on the manga, letting the production staff trash the show's reputation.

It would be very interesting if the fillers were about what they did at Soul Society.
Didn't they spend 25 days there to rescue Rukia?
They can't have possiblly spent the whole summer there without doing anything .
Unless japanese summer holidays are very short.
